Photo Booths for Bars, Restaurants and Venues: Buy, Lease or Partner?
If people already come to your venue to celebrate, a photo booth gives them one more thing to do while they're there. And a custom one doesn't just sit in the corner. It looks like it belongs.
Here's how a permanent photo booth works in a venue, and how to pick the right way to bring one in.
How does a permanent photo booth work in a bar?
A permanent booth lives in your venue full time. Guests walk up, step inside, take their photos and pay right from their phone with touchless QR through Stripe. If you'd like, you can add an optional card reader too. The booth is designed around your venue, so it fits the room instead of fighting it.
Who it's for
We install booths in bars, restaurants, breweries, nightclubs, hotels and other spaces where people gather. If your guests are already taking photos on a night out, a booth gives them a better spot to do it.
Buy, lease or partnership placement?
There are three ways to bring a booth into your venue.
Purchase
You own the booth. It's yours to keep in your space.
Lease
You get the booth in your venue without buying it outright. A good fit if you'd rather not make a purchase.
Partnership placement
Partnership placements are available for select, approved high volume locations.
Should a venue buy or lease a photo booth?
It comes down to how you like to run your business. If you want to own your equipment, purchase. If you'd rather not buy, lease. If your venue sees serious foot traffic, ask about partnership placement. Not sure? Pick the closest option in the builder and we'll talk it through with you.
Make it look like your venue
Every visible part of the booth is customizable:
- Outside panels and wrap, in three tiers: The Spotlight, The Trio and The Full Show
- An optional marquee topper
- The curtain
- Start and end screens
- The strip layout (fully custom, designed with you)
We can design it for you, or you can bring your own artwork. Either way, the booth carries your brand.
The hardware and camera stay fixed on every booth. That keeps every install consistent and dependable.
How much space does an enclosed booth need?
The booth itself is 52.5 in wide x 32 in deep. It stands 72.5 in tall with the standard roof and 79.5 in tall with the marquee topper. Beyond the footprint, plan for some open space in front so guests can line up and step in without blocking a walkway or the bar. Ceiling height matters too if you add the marquee topper.
What install looks like
- Build your booth online and pick purchase, lease or partnership placement.
- Tell us about your venue: name, type, city, weekly foot traffic and when you'd like it installed.
- Choose your payment setup.
- Send it over, and we'll reach out to plan your install.
We install nationwide, so it doesn't matter where your venue is.
