Everything Is Customizable: A Part by Part Guide to a Custom Photo Booth
Most photo booths look the same from one event to the next. A custom photo booth flips that. Instead of renting whatever shows up, you pick how every visible part looks, so the booth fits your event or your venue like it was made for it. Because it was.
Here's every part you can customize on our enclosed booth, and what each one does.
What parts of a photo booth can be customized?
On our booth, you can customize five things: the outside panels and wrap, an optional marquee topper, the curtain, the start and end screens, the strip layout. Together, that's everything a guest sees from the moment they walk up to the moment they leave with their photos. The hardware and camera stay fixed, which we'll get to below.
The wrap: The Spotlight, The Trio and The Full Show
A photo booth wrap is the printed design on the outside of the booth. It's the biggest canvas you've got, and the first thing people notice from across the room.
We offer three wrap tiers:
- The Spotlight: one branded panel. A clean touch that keeps the classic look.
- The Trio: three branded panels. More room for your brand, your names or a sponsor.
- The Full Show: the full wrap. Every face is yours.
If you're not sure which to pick, ask yourself how loud you want to be. A wedding might want a single elegant panel. A brand activation usually wants The Full Show.
The marquee topper
The marquee topper is optional, and it's the showstopper. It sits on top of the booth and puts your name, brand or message up high where everyone can see it. If people need to find the booth in a crowded room, this helps.
The curtain
The curtain is the doorway. It's the thing guests touch on their way in, so it sets the mood. Pick a color or style that matches your palette, and it ties the outside of the booth to the experience inside.
Start and end screens
The start screen is your hello. The end screen is your goodbye. These are small moments, but guests see them every single session, so they're great spots for a welcome line, an event name, a logo or a thank you.
Can I design a custom photo strip?
Yes. The strip layout is fully custom. There are no presets: we design it with you, deciding together how the photos and branding are arranged, so every strip feels like part of your event.
Why the hardware and camera stay fixed
Everything guests see is custom. The hardware and camera are not, and that's on purpose. Keeping them the same on every booth means every booth works the same reliable way, whether it's at a wedding or installed in a bar. You get to focus on the fun part.
Can I use my own artwork on a photo booth?
Yes. You've got two ways to go:
- Design it for me. Tell us the vibe and we'll design every customizable part.
- Bring your own. Upload your logo or finished artwork (PNG, JPG, PDF or AI, up to 25 MB) and we'll make it fit.
You choose in the artwork step of the builder.
Can a photo booth match my brand colors?
Yes. Since the wrap, curtain, screens and strip are all customizable, you can carry your colors through every part. That's the whole idea behind a branded photo booth.
Rent it or install it
Every part is customizable whether you rent a booth for an event or install one permanently in your venue. See Rentals for events nationwide, or Venue Installs if you want a booth that stays.
